Our CommitmentAt RC Hobby Explosion we are committed to providing you with a good selection of competitively priced shipping options to get your R/C order delivered to you fast! The following information should answer most questions about the shipping process. We will do everything we can to get an answer to your shipping question right away.

Same-Day Shipping: Most orders for in-stock items received on a business day before 12:00 PM CST will be shipped the same day. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this as seasonal and daily volumes may prevent same-day shipping in some cases. However, please note that all in-stock orders placed before 12:00 PM CST will be shipped no later than the following business day. If you have an emergency order that must be shipped on the day the order is placed, please call us at 866-729-4940 to confirm.

Choice of Carrier: In most cases the carrier you choose at checkout will be the agent that delivers your order. However, RC Hobby Explosion reserves the right to substitute another carrier that might be able to either (1) deliver your order faster, or (2) better handle an order of the particular size, composition, and weight. The most common examples would be substituting USPS for Federal Express Ground or vice-versa.

Important: Please note that express shipping upgrades (Federal Express) will always be delivered by the carrier chosen at checkout.
Alaska & Hawaii: All shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, unless upgraded to Federal Express, are delivered via USPS Priority Mail.

How Long Does it Take?: Please refer to the delivery timetable below for estimated delivery times with each option.

Delivery Timetable

All delivery estimates are from date shipped and are in business days.
Note: USPS Standard and Priority Mail do deliver on Saturday at no additional cost.

USPS Standard: (Used for small orders - No HI & AK)	Usually delivers within 10 days
USPS Priority Mail: (Used for small orders + HI & AK)	Usually delivers within 3 days
Federal Express Ground:	Delivery in 1-4 days based on distance
FedEx Express Saver:	Delivery by 4:30pm on 3rd day (7pm to residences)
FedEx 2-Day:	Delivery by 4:30pm on 2nd day (7pm to residences)
FedEx Standard Overnight:	Delivery by 3pm next day to most addresses (4:30pm to rural areas)
FedEx Priority Overnight:	Delivery by 10:30am next day to most addresses (5pm in remote areas)

Federal Express Upgraded Shipping: In some cases, the Federal Express upgraded shipping cost shown at checkout will not accurately reflect the charge for an order of a particular size and weight. If the cost to ship via Federal Express will be higher than the amount shown at checkout, we will notify you immediately and before we ship the order (The reason for this possible increase is that Federal Express calculates their rates based on two criteria: (1) the actual weight of the shipment; and (2) the dimensional weight of the shipment. For example, a 26 x 14 x 14 carton weighing 10 pounds would cost more that an 18 x 10 x 10 carton weighing the same 10 pounds. As the bigger carton takes up more of the airplane, the cost is higher. Although our system can calculate the exact weight of your order, it cannot determine the exact size carton your order will be placed in. Fortunately, most of the time the upgraded shipping costs provided at checkout are 100% correct.)

Special Note: All Federal Express deliveries and most USPS orders are shipped with delivery signature required unless customer waives this requirement and advises RC Hobby Explosion via email that they will accept liability should the shipment be stolen after delivery.

Parts Orders: Most parts-only orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Some of our competition advertise "express shipping" on parts for under $4.00. What they don't tell you is that your order is being sent via USPS Parcel Post, which can take more than 10 days for delivery. To get USPS Priority Mail service, the cost goes up substantially. You will be happy to know that when RC Hobby Explosion ships via USPS Priority Mail, we do it for less than the other guys so you don't have the big upcharge or the long wait.

Hazardous Materials: All hazardous materials (nitro fuel, LiPo batteries, e.g.) must be shipped via ground service. RC Hobby Explosion complies with all Hazmat regulations as stipulated by the Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.

International Orders: RC Hobby Explosion does not ship internationally. We ship within the United States only.

FREE SHIPPING RULES & EXCLUSIONS

1) Savox Servos - Savox servos will be shipped either by USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail depending on the size of the order.

2) Larger Items (cars, trucks, boats, airplanes, etc.) - All larger items with a FREE SHIPPING promotion will be shipped by one of the economy shipping methods including, but not limited to, USPS Parcel Post, FedEx Smartpost, UPS Smartpost, and FedEx Home Delivery. These methods can take as many as 10 to 14 business days to deliver, but this offers a no-cost free shipping option if delivery time is not a concern.

EXCLUSIONS/CONDITIONS:

1.) Due to the extremely high cost of shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, Free Shipping promotions apply only to orders shipped within the continental United States. Unfortunately, we cannot provide free shipping for Alaska and Hawaii.

2.) Specific items marked as eligible for Free Shipping - If you select a Free Shipping eligible item and other items that do not qualify for free shipping or have a free shipping promotion, you will only be charged for shipping of the additional non-qualifying items. The Free Shipping item, however, will not have its weight calculated into the final shipping cost.

3.) Free Shipping Coupon or Promotional Codes - Please note that Free Shipping Coupon Codes can be used towards all items on our website except the following:

Oversized items
Hazardous materials (such as nitro fuel)

4.) Returns of Free Shipping Items - If a customer voluntarily returns an unused product to us, the shipping cost originally paid by RC Hobby Explosion will be deducted from any refunds issued (not to exceed a 10% restocking fee).
