Probably the biggest and most popular addition to the Ultimate Slash is the new LCG, or low center of gravity, chassis that optimizes handling to give maximum cornering speeds. To enhance control on rougher track surfaces, the new and larger hard-anodized GTR shocks are included as well. Experience the smoothest suspension and most consistent damping through each and every lap. The smoothness of these higher-volume shocks comes from the PTFE-coated bores, which are just one example of the advanced engineering Traxxas has put into this SCT. The Ultimate also comes with an optional sealed silicone-filled center differential if you really want to get the best combination of handling, power delivery, and cornering speed. Plus, the new Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) allows you to utilize all of the extreme power and acceleration that was engineered into the Slash by making it easier to control on slippery surfaces, loose dirt, smooth concrete, and even ice and snow. Punch it off the line and TSM senses the vehicle’s direction and makes steering corrections to provide straight-ahead, full-throttle acceleration without spinouts, fish-tailing, and loss of control.
