RC Hobby Explosion has been the official battery supplier of Nikko batteries since they went out of business in 2008. Some of the original Nikko battery packs, such as the 7.2V NiCd stick pack, have now sold out. Not to worry, though, as we have teamed with Venom-Group International and Racer's Edge to provide our Nikko battery customers a battery that has comparable specs, size, voltage, run-time and shape as the original Nikko 7.2V stick battery (Nikko #1272). In fact, these replacement batteries are actually rated 200mAh higher than the Nikko battery, which will give better performance and longer run-times. This replacement combo set includes the new 7.2V 1800mAh battery and the original Nikko 4-Hour Quick Charger.
