The Megatech Ocean Explorer-1 comes completely assembled with rechargeable battery power, and only needs 8 "AA" batteries to power-up the two-channel surface command transmitter. Should your Explorer-1 remote control submarine ever run out of power, experience radio-link interference, fear not! The Ocean Explorer 1's failsafe system is preset to automatically shut down the engines and blow all ballast sending the Megatech Ocean Explorer-1 safely on an emergency return trip to the surface.
